Okay, so I have never been a computer genius. In fact, I have been the total opposite - a computer dummy!! Since I have gotten into photography I have had to learn some of the tricks of the trade, computer skills being one of those skills (I feel like Napoleon Dynamite saying that). Well, I decided to take a crack at adding textures to my photos. I was a little nervous because this meant using photoshop - scary! After a few google searches I managed to learn how, and accomplish the task of adding textures. I am sure you will see this technique much more from me, because I am obsessed!
This is my cute mom and brothers, Eric and Matthew. While we were in Fresno I was able to take these fun pictures. Eric and Matthew were so good, and did everything I asked them to do. They are both so handsome! And Hello!! can you believe my mom? She looks gorgeous!
Matthew totally got into the shoot and even posed himself for this picture. He is so cute!
I love these kids!! I love them a lot!! They are my cute niece and nephews. I was so glad that I was able to take these pictures, amongst all the other crazy things that we had to get done while we were in California (finding a new house, situating school, etc.) It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. All the kids were wonderful and such good sports (it was blazing hot). Brianne, I hope that you like the pics, and can I just add again - I love these kiddos!!
This was such a cute family to shoot. Luke and Tanner are going to be major heart breakers and Brielle had a big smile on her face from the moment I saw her. So cute! They all made this such a great experience for me. Not to mention, the yummy ice cream afterwards. Hope you guys like the pictures.
This day could not have gone better. Beautiful people, adorable baby, Harley the dog and of course, great company!! I was so happy with how everything turned out - not to mention I have 3o more shots I like equally as well. Oh, lovely day!!
I know these pictures are not much different then the pics I took in front of the purple brick wall, but I literally had 2 minutes to take them. We were running errands and I quickly pulled over so I get see how this fence looked on film. Beautiful I think! Like I said before, I am just scoping out locations, so if the next few posts seem silly....just bare with me. I just want to get all of my thoughts organized. Putting things on the blog allows me to see everything at the same time. Sorry! I also have to tell Ellie what a good girl she is about taking pictures. She really does help me out...alot! As you can see by all the pics I take ;0 I just wanted to acknowledge how wonderful she has been. Thanks Ellie girl!
This is a journal about my journey as a photographer. I love capturing a moment and making it last forever. I started to get into photography at first so that I didn't miss a moment of my children growing up, but somewhere along the way, I realized that I wanted it to become a permanent part of my life.
