Just so you know, I am so jealous.oh, when you take pictures in front of someone else's property do you ask? I feel weird, but if it is a wall/fence whatever it shouldn't matter. Just wondering. Also, did you make the red background? If so what did you use, fabric...that is one of the tips I picked up from that link. I know I am getting ahead of myself, because I don't even have my camera but I want to practice so that when I do have it I will have a bunch of ideas. I am having an inner struggle, because one of my good friends here has a photo studio and I don't want to be her competition. Frustrating. I feel like a race horse ready to go but the gate is in the way(crazy I know.) Patience is a wonderful virtue, I just don't have a lot of it.

Heather,
It really depends on the setting. If I was on their property then I would totally ask. Most of the places that I have found have been public, so I have been able to avoid the awkward "asking". I am sure that I will have to ask sometime soon though. I would say if you have any doubts, just ask. The red background - yes it is fabric, but I did not make it. It is actually an old decoration that Josh's mom had from when she first got married. She was decorating on a budget and has kept it all these years because it reminds her of that special time in their lives. cute huh!
